About Us
Welcome to System Overload, a VEX U robotics team based in Salem, Oregon, with members from Oregon State University, Oregon Institute of Technology, Reed College, and Washington State University.
Founded by passionate members of the local VEX community following the High Stakes season, our team was formed with the goal of continuing to grow in competitive robotics at the university level. With just 12 dedicated members, we launched System Overload under the non profit organization System Robotics, an organization committed to advancing STEM education through hands-on learning, mentorship, and community outreach centered around robotics.
Together, we work to inspire and equip students with the technical knowledge and teamwork skills essential for success in STEM fields, support robotics teams through collaboration and shared resources, and lead by example with our own competitive robotics team that pushes the boundaries of innovation, develops real world technical skills, and serves as a model for outreach and learning for the next generation of STEM leaders.
